Detailed program
Day 1: Reims
On arrival at Paris Airport, head immediately to Reims, city of the champagne to which you will be introduced during a visit of a wine-cellar.

Day 2: Dijon
Departure for Dijon, city of the Duke of Burgundy and discover the town. Then, continue to Lyon, former capital of the French silk industry.
Overnight in Lyon.
Day 3: Lyon – Pérouges
Explore the city of Lyon, including a visit to a haberdashery and a weaving shop. Travel to the medieval city of Pérouges, where many movies have been produced. On your way back, enjoy a wine tasting in the Beaujolais vineyard.

Day 4: Lyon – Nice
Travel to Avignon to admire the Papal Palace and the Saint-Bénezet bridge… Stop in Aix-en-Provence, home city of Cézanne, before reaching Nice, located in the heart of the Angel’s Bay.

Day 5: Grasse – Saint-Paul-de-Vence
In Grasse, world capital of perfumes, you will visit the Fragonard Perfumery and museum before traveling to Saint-Paul-de-Vence, a charming little fortified city. Free afternoon in Nice or discover the Principality of Monaco.

Day 6: L’Esterel – Marseille
Via the Esterel Coast, you will reach Marseille with its « singsong » accent. Panoramic tour of the city: the famous « Canebière » and its bustling cafés, the Old Harbour, the City Hall…

Day 7: Carcassonne
Departure to Carcassonne, spectacular medieval fortifications that you will discover during a guided tour. Then, you transfer to the « Pink City », Toulouse.

Day 8: Toulouse – Bordeaux
This morning, visit Toulouse and its Capitole. Then, transfer to Bordeaux, stop en route in a vineyard for a wine tasting, followed by a guided tour of Bordeaux.

Day 9: La Rochelle
Transfer to La Rochelle for a guided tour. You will be charmed by the old fortified harbour and the streets’ sheltered walkways. Transfer to Tours in the afternoon.

Day 10: Castles of the Loire
Discover Tours before visiting the Châteaux de Chenonceau, also called the « Castle of the Six Women ». In the afternoon, visit the Château de Chambord, the biggest castle of the Loire Valley and its 365 chimneys!

Day 11: Saint-Malo
Continue to Saint-Malo, discover the Old Town and its fortifications. Then, arrival at the Mont-Saint-Michel.
Overnight close to the Mont-Saint-Michel.
Day 12: Mont-Saint-Michel – Normandy
Discover the Mont-Saint-Michel which stands in the middle of huge sandbanks and visit its abbey. Then, departure to the Normandy for a tour of the « Landing beaches ».
Overnight in Caen.
Day 13: Paris
Travel back to Paris. Enjoy a guided tour of the « City of lights » and its unavoidable monuments.

Day 14: Paris
Excursion to the Château Royal de Fontainebleau and the Château de Versailles or to Monet House and Gardens in Giverny.

Day 15: Departure from France
Transfer to Paris Airport by private coach for your return journey
