Detailed program

Day 1: Lyon – Annecy

Arrival at Lyon airport. Board the coach and travel to Annecy. Explore old Annecy on foot. Visit the Gorges du Fier. Return to Annecy and check into your comfortable hotel.

First night in your hotel in Annecy.

Day 2: Chamonix – Annecy   

Departure by coach for the famous mountain resort of Chamonix, located at the foot of Mont Blanc. Free time to explore the village and its typical streets. Excursion to the Mer de Glace aboard the famous Montenvers rack railway, departing from Chamonix.

Second night at your hotel in Annecy.

Day 3: Genève – Annecy    

Departure by coach to Geneva. Panoramic tour of Geneva to discover the old town and its Grande-Rue, St. Pierre Cathedral, the beautiful parks along Lake Geneva, and the famous 140-meter water jet. Visit to the Red Cross Museum. Free visit to the Philippe Patek Museum. Walk along the Bains de Paquis pier. Return to Annecy at the end of the day.

Third night at your hotel in Annecy.

Day 4: Annecy – Grotte de Chauvet – Avignon    

Load your luggage onto the coach and spend the morning traveling south to France. Stop in the Ardèche region to visit an exact replica of the famous Chauvet prehistoric cave. Continue your journey and arrive in Avignon in the late afternoon. Check into a budget hotel located near Avignon.

Day 5: Baux-de-Provence – Grotte de Touzon  

Departure for Les Baux-de-Provence, located in the Alpilles Regional Nature Park. Discover the Thouzon Cave, the only natural cave in Provence that has been developed for tourism. Free time to explore the charming pedestrian streets of the village of Les Baux-de-Provence. Guided tour of the ruins of the Château des Baux de Provence with two local guides. Free visit to the Carrières de Lumières, an incredible audiovisual show set in former limestone quarries. Return to the hotel at the end of the day.

Second night at your hotel in Avignon.

Day 6: Avignon – Nîmes    

Meet in front of your hotel to meet your two local guides. Guided tour of the city of Avignon with two local guides. Option to walk across the Saint-Bénézet bridge, commonly known as the Pont d’Avignon. You could also opt for the free option of dancing under the bridge. Free time in the historic center to explore the winding narrow streets. Return to your hotel to collect your luggage and be picked up by your driver. Departure by coach from your hotel in Avignon and drive to the Pont-du-Gard. Free visit to the Pont-du-Gard; swimming not included. Continue on to Nîmes. Check into your comfortable hotel.

First night in your hotel in Nîmes.

Day 7: Perrier – Camargue    

Departure from your hotel in Nîmes, then drive to Vergèze. Guided tour of the Perrier Spring Museum, located in a magnificent park: posters, objects, TV advertising saga, and 3D film about bottling, as well as a guided tour of the original spring. Departure and drive to a ranch located in Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer before returning to your accommodation in Nîmes. Visit in a cart pulled by bulls and horses. Return to Nîmes.

Second night at your hotel in Nîmes.

Day 8: Camargue – Nîmes    

Departure for the Camargue. Hop aboard the little train for a trip to the heart of the Aigues-Mortes salt marshes. Discover the salt pans, the fabulous Camargue salt, and the pink waters that make this place magical and exceptional. You can also visit the exhibition hall and climb the “camelle” for an extraordinary view of the largest salt marsh in the Mediterranean and the town of Aigues-Mortes. Small group walk through the fortified medieval town of Aigues-Mortes. Return to Nîmes. Afternoon dedicated to exploring Nîmes and its Roman heritage. Discover the Arena, where you will also see the Temple of the Square House, now converted into a museum, but which was once part of the longest city wall in Gaul. Finally, you can enjoy the Jardin de la Fontaine and see the Magne Tower. Return to your hotel.

Third and final night at your hotel in Nîmes.

Day 9: Nîmes – Marseille – Montréal

Preparation of luggage and transfer to Marseille airport.
