Detailed program

Day 1: Arrival in Paris

You arrive at Paris airport, where your driver will meet you and take you to your accommodation. Take the metro to the Champs-Élysées, considered the most beautiful avenue in the world. You’ll discover the Place de la Concorde and the Arc de Triomphe, two of Paris’s most emblematic landmarks.

Spend the night in Paris.

Day 2: Paris

Head to the Champ-de-Mars to admire the Eiffel Tower, the capital’s most famous landmark. Visit the Trocadero, with its spectacular view of the Eiffel Tower. Explore the Ile de la Cité, the historic heart of Paris, with a visit to Notre-Dame Cathedral. You’ll then discover the surrounding area, including the Place de l’Hôtel de Ville, the Luxembourg Gardens and the Pantheon.

Day 3: Loire Valley Castles

You leave by coach for the Loire Valley to visit the Château de Chambord with a guide. Continue on to Bourré for a guided tour of a troglodyte site, then end the day with a visit to Château de Chenonceau.

You spend the night in Tours.

Day 4: Dinan – Saint-Malo

You leave for Brittany and visit Dinan, a charming medieval city, at your own pace. Then on to Saint-Malo, where you’ll enjoy a guided tour of this fortified city with its rich maritime past.

You spend the night in Saint-Malo.

Day 5: Mont-Saint-Michel – Colleville-sur-mer

You’ll head to Mont-Saint-Michel to visit the abbey and its church, jewels of French heritage. Then off to Normandy for a guided tour of the D-Day beaches, including the American cemetery at Colleville-sur-Mer. Finish with a visit to the Arromanches 360° circular cinema.

Spend the night in Caen or Bayeux.

Day 6: Rouen – Versailles – Paris

You’ll discover Rouen at your own pace, visiting the cathedral, the Horloge tower, the Saint-Maclou church and the Place du Vieux-Marché, where Joan of Arc was burned. You then head for the Paris region, stopping off at the Château de Versailles to visit the Grands Appartements. You then return to Paris.

Spend the night in Paris.

Day 7: Paris

Visit the Père Lachaise cemetery, famous for its graves. Enjoy a free tour of the Louvre Museum, then discover the Butte Montmartre district with the Sacré-Coeur Basilica and Place du Tertre. Finish with a one-hour cruise on the Seine before returning to your accommodation.

Day 8: Departure 

Transfer to Paris airport by coach and departure.
